Kepis
A kepi is a light military cap with a leather or cloth peak and a leather or cord chinstrap. The kepi was originally known as a “casquette”.The military kepis hat was inspired by and developed from a fifteenth-century bonnet with a peak and a cap known as a montera. The peaked cap became popular as military headgear in many distinct styles during the eighteenth century. Beyond the military, it has appeared in a variety of sports, professional, and other civil outfits in the twentieth century.
Given below is a fantastic set of military Kepis in excellent shape. They are very early hats, most likely made in the first 18 months of the war, and very hard to come by in this condition. We, skylark infantry, offer your kepis that are in wonderful condition, with the entire sweatband, original label, a neatly stitched visor, and a chin strap that shows little to no wear. The early feature is the extraordinarily wide visor with a full curve across its entire width.
Skylark infantry Kepis have a huge size. They consist of wool-blend material. With brass buttons and a buckle, it has a leather band and brim. The kepi is lined with cloth.
